does someone still play SWG and how is it now ? has there been any dramatic changes after the so-called NGE wich killed the game for me ?
or is the game dead already ?

I tried to play while I couldn't connect to WoW, but have a guess - same prob.. I received a SWG newsletter where they were announcing publish 29 or something. Last publish I used to play, was Pub 14..  Makes me think that I won't know the game when I join.. .p |

I gave in and rejoined. The game seems a lot busier than before - well at least before the world cup started lol. Most of the initial flaws with NGE seem fixed eg; weapon stats now actually mean something finally.
The biggest problem i had with the game was lack of new content and they really seem to have been working on that - the legacy queests now taker you up to the mid 40 level whcih means new players have plenty of quests to do. In addition the new Restuss GCW event and planned GCW enhancements are looking great. Furthermore new high end content is being added so yeah I would say it is better.
Nowhere near perfect and nowhere near as good as a Star Wars game should be though - but better.

Look forward to seeing you mate - as I said though bear in mind that Restuss is the biggie and that is expected end of June. Will give you time to relearn the system though As a pre NGE Jedi you will get an elder robe that kicks the ass of all non pre NGE jedi so dont delete it!!!! |
